Kids' Classes

Children's Modern Dance (ages 4-6 & ages 7-9)

GRANDVIEW LOCATION: Bloom! Music and Movement Centre
1890 Northwest Blvd. Suite 110, Columbus, OH 43212. (map).

Enter the building via the front or back door and proceed downstairs. Bloom! is in Suite 110.

PARKING: Ample FREE parking on the sides & back of the building. If the lot is full, you're also welcome to park at Chocolate Cafe across the street.

DETAILS: Class purchases are nonrefundable and valid only for the date/session specified. Classes that do not meet our minimum enrollment will be canceled, attendees will be notified, and a full refund will be issued.

WHAT TO WEAR: All of our modern classes are done in barefeet, so no need to buy shoes! Students should wear comfortable exercise clothing. No skirts or jeans please.

REGISTRATION: Register by purchasing online below or emailing classes@comodance.org. Parent/guardian must sign our release and treatment waiver at the first class or in advance.

AUGUST - SEPTEMBER 2019 SCHEDULE

CHILDREN'S MODERN DANCE I - (Ages 4-6) 
MONDAYS, 6:00-6:45pm (5-Class Session)
Fall Session #1: 8/19, 8/26, (no class 9/2), 9/9, 9/16, 9/23
Grandview Studio: Bloom! Music & Movement Centre, 1890 Northwest Blvd. Suite 110

Children ages 4-6 will creatively strengthen their coordination and self-expression using modern dance movements. In class, kids will acquire a vocabulary of new steps, explore their own movement, and learn original choreography. Class will be taught by CoMo company dancer Chelsea Herbert. At the end of the session, the class will have an informal showing of their dance. Family & friends are welcome to attend the end of the final class: 6:30pm on Monday, September 23 for a mini performance in the studio. Students will choose a color to wear from their own closets, no costume purchase necessary.

5-CLASS SESSION COST: $50. No registration fee!

Family & Friends are welcome to attend this FREE Christmas event from 6:30-8pm at the Galbreath Pavilion Downtown (39 E. State Street) in Studio 1. Students will choose a color to wear from their own closets, no costume purchase necessary.
